Princess, it's like a corset that is tightened, tightened so much that you feel trapped in a vice. You search for your breath, in vain. Every time you try to inhale, it tightens even more. But the corset is fragile and breaks before we do. We take deep breaths again. We are free. And free to do with our bodies as we please. Because not all Princesses wish to wear a corset.

The tone of this song, as well as its message, conveys something positive and empowering. It’s a song that chants "my body, my choice." Let’s forge our own path as we see fit. But reality is not always so clear; it is nuanced and sometimes far from these encouraging messages. Thus, the music video deliberately puts us in the shoes of a woman (and ultimately, all women) whose control over her body is taken away against her will.
